Book your audition slot for our upcoming Readers Theater performance in Gresham. Please come prepared with a short monologue; materials will be provided for cold readings. This is a chance to showcase your talent and join our community-focused repertory theater.
Cancellation Policy
# MHRT & Readers Theatre Audition Policy Mt. Hood Repertory Theatre (MHRT) and Readers Theatre are committed to providing an audition process that is organized, respectful, welcoming, and transparent. ## Arrival & Timing Auditioners are expected to arrive **on time and prepared**. Late arrivals may be accommodated if the schedule allows, but we cannot guarantee that late auditioners will be seen. If possible, they may be worked into an available opening. ## Preparation Unless otherwise stated in the audition notice, auditioners should arrive prepared with a **one-minute monologue**. Auditioners may also be asked to participate in a **cold reading** using material provided by the production team. Any additional requirements, including music or movement, will be included in the audition announcement. ## Conduct All auditioners, directors, staff, volunteers, and participants are expected to treat one another with professionalism and respect. Bullying, harassment, intimidation, manipulation, or attempts to improperly influence casting decisions will not be tolerated. Concerns may be brought to the Director, Artistic Director, or an MHRT Board representative. ## Casting Transparency MHRT believes auditioners should know what opportunities are actually available. If a role has already been **pre-cast, offered, reserved, or otherwise filled**, that information will be disclosed in the audition materials whenever possible so auditioners can make an informed decision about participating.
