About the event
About the Show
Into the Woods weaves together some of our most beloved fairy tales—Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (yes, that beanstalk), Rapunzel, and a Baker and his Wife who simply wish for a child. What begins as a series of familiar stories quickly tangles together in surprising ways as each character ventures into the woods to chase a wish.
With a sweeping score by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine, this Tony Award–winning musical blends humor, heart, and just enough danger to keep you leaning forward in your seat. Act One feels like a storybook come to life. Act Two reminds us that storybooks don’t always tell the whole story.
